    OUR STORY

During May 2020, Foster Care Alumni, Sade Bradford-Bond, decided that she wanted to do something positive for National Foster Care Month. After noticing that several of her foster care alumni peers were struggling with feelings of loneliness, depression, and isolation during the initial period of quarantine for the Covid-19 global pandemic, she decided that she would do something that would help to encourage them and provide hope. At the time, Sade did not have a lot of resources. However, she remembered that she had some extra copies of her first published book, Hope That Remains, and decided that she would give them away for free. The response from her peers was so overwhelming that Sade decided to formally establish a non-profit organization to offer encouragement to members of the foster care community. Sade's desire is to see every member of the foster care community thrive.
